I'm Henry, a recently retired father of three almost grown up children and partner to the lovely (and very tolerant) Helen. In a few days I will be setting out on a very long walk, from Land's End to John O'Groats.
About my blog
I'll be posting about the people I meet and the places I go. Beyond that, I'm going to make it up as I go along. I have never published a blog before so apologies in advance to the media savvy amongst you for all the digital gaffes I am about to make. Most of the time I'll be walking on my own, wild camping where I find a good spot or in campsites when in desperate need of a shower. I'll also be walking with friends and family at some stages along the route. To everyone that knows me, don't be shy about signing up for a day or two.I'm also collecting money for the mental health charity, Mind. There are links to my Just Giving page on this site.
